The marl
The land on which our vines grow is the greatest treasure we have recived from nature.
The marl, a set of clayey rocks and calcite crystals, give our Verdicchio unique flavors
The particular composition of the soil derives from the sedimentation of mud on ancient prehistoric oceans, where preistoric fossil can often be found.
In our soils we also find calcite in the form of crystals already from the surface layers
The gifts of the earth
In ancient times this area was called Sassóne, cause of the large clayey stones that emerge from the ground.
Today those stones are the basis of our work.
Deep colours, a large variety of intense aromas and scents, structure and minerality are the peculiarities given by the crystals to our wines.
